Research Interest
Broadly speaking I am interested in environmentally relevant research. Specifically, I aim to examine the interactions of well-characterized nanoparticles with model lipid bilayer systems. I want to be able to characterize these interactions using quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and optical waveguide light spectroscopy (OWLS). In addition, I want to gain an electrochemical understanding of these interactions by coupling QCM with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
