Arielle Mensch & Lily Klapper
Congratulations to Arielle Mensch and Lily Klapper, both students in the Hamers group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Â for their receipt of a Stephen Morton Award for Mentoring. The Morton award is given to a graduate student mentor and their undergraduate student mentee.
Arielle has been mentoring Lily on the functionalization of AFM tips with molecules to enable direct measurement of molecular interaction forces at interfaces.
Arielle is also being recognized with a PPG Industries Mentoring Award for 2015-16.
