Congratulations to CSN faculty member Erin Carlson, who has been named among the recipients of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. According to the White House press release, this award is “the highest honor bestowed by the United States Government on science and engineering professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers.”  (The press release lists Erin’s affiliation as Indiana University, but she actually moved the University of Minnesota in 2014.)
