Student Mimi Hang receives outstanding student presentation award at ACS Symposium on Environmental Transformation of Nanoparticles

Congratulations to CSN student Mimi Hang, who received an Outstanding Student Presentation Award for her talk at the recent American Chemical Society meeting in Boston, entitled "Investigation of the impact of Li1/3Ni1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 (NMC) nanoparticles on bacterial model system Shewanella oneidensis MR-1." The presentation was part of the Division of Environmental Chemistry Symposium on Environmental Transformation of Nanoparticles, and described a collaboration among the Hamers and Pedersen labs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Haynes group at the University of Minnesota.
