Cathy Murphy named as ACS Langmuir Lecturer and TREE Award Recipient

We are pleased to announce that Center scientist Catherine J. Murphy, Professor of Chemistry at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is the recipient of two recent honors. First, she has been named as one of the Langmuir Lecturers for the upcoming ACS National Meeting in Boston, sponsored by the Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry. Second, Cathy is one of the first three people to be named as a recipient of the new TREE Award (Transformational Research and Excellence in Education) from the Research Corporation for Science Advancement. The RCSA website states that the TREE Award is "intended to recognize and advance truly outstanding research and education." Congratulations, Cathy!
