Student Mimi Hang elected co-chair for 2017 Gordon Research Seminars on “Nanomaterials for Applications in Energy Technology”

At a recent Gordon Research ConferenceMimi Hang (a graduate student in CSN Director Bob Hamers' lab) was elected as co-chair for the 2017 Gordon Research Seminars on "Nanomaterials for Applications in Energy Technology." Mimi will play a leadership role in seeking funding and coordinating speakers and other programming for the conference. She says, "This sounds cheesy, but I was inspired to take on this role because of the professional development workshops we had [through the CSN]."  Congratulations, Mimi!
