Congratulations to Kadir Hussein!  Kadir is the recipient of the Heisig/Gleysteen Chemistry Summer Research Fellowship which will allow him to continue exploring the ways in which engineered nanoparticles interact with bacteria with the Haynes Research Group.  This award will also fund Kadir's travel to present his findings during our CSN symposium at the American Chemical Society fall meeting in San Francisco.

And, there’s more!  Kudos again to Kadir Hussein, named a 2014 President’s Student Leadership and Service Awardee at the University of Minnesota!  This recognizes Kadir as an outstanding student at the University of Minnesota, where his leadership, service, and dedication contribute significantly to the sense of community on campus.  Bravo, Kadir!
